Send a photo of the loop. We will tell you what the residue is and which bottle fixes it — in build terms, not ticket terms.
Yes. Vue carries an inhibitor package rated for copper, nickel and brass. Aluminium is the exception — no coolant fully solves a mixed-metal galvanic loop.
15 ml per gallon of DI or distilled water. Under-dosing is worse than not dosing: a partial inhibitor film leaves anodic hot spots.
At three weeks it is almost never the fluid. It is incomplete prep — machining oil or flux still in the loop — or biological growth from non-distilled water. Photograph the reservoir and send it to us.
Always. Radiators are brazed, and flux residue and solder debris sit in the tube ends from the factory. Three hot distilled passes, then Rad Clean.
No. Top up with the same fluid you filled with. Plain distilled dilutes the inhibitor and biocide package below spec.
Twelve months for the loop itself. Opaque fluids including Vue are on a shorter clock — replace those at six months.
Photos of the reservoir and a parts list get you a real answer — responses can take up to 48 hours.
