True — Non-Transparent

Showcase colour with a concentrate’s economics. Add DI water and you have a gallon of opaque fluid.

Concentrate·8 oz → 1 gallon·Opaque·24 colours
A show coolant, not a daily driver
Built to be prepped, filled, photographed, and drained — not run indefinitely. Long runs happen, but that is the exception, not the design.
Full teardown + prep required
Every surface cleaned, then SysPrep → flush → PrimoPrep → flush, before True — Non-Transparent goes in. Both guides below.
Nothing else goes in the mix
Mix to the exact ratio once — after that, no dyes, no biocides, no extra water. Topping off a low reservoir means more of the same mixed fluid, not water.
Run your pump as slow as you can
Higher flow shears the suspension apart faster. Slower is better, as long as your thermals hold.

Swatches are visual approximations of the listed range — always confirm against a physical sample for a colour-matched build.

How it works

The showcase finish, mixed by you

This is the opaque range in concentrate form — the same solid, saturated colour and the same suspension chemistry as Vue and the Opaque Pre-Mix, finished with your own DI water. For a large loop that needs more than 32 oz, it is substantially cheaper per litre than buying pre-mix.

Measure properly, once

An opaque concentrate is less forgiving of a casual mix than a transparent one. Get the ratio wrong and you do not get a slightly paler fluid — you get a suspension that is either under-loaded and streaky or over-loaded and prone to dropping out. One gallon of DI, the whole bottle, mixed thoroughly.

Never blend colours

Two True colours mixed together are not a new colour, they are two pigment packages competing for suspension. The listing is explicit about this and so are we: one colour per fill.

Fill slowly, bleed for 24 hours with the pump running and the system off. Check every fitting twice — a paper towel under each joint tells you more than a pressure gauge.

For True — Non-Transparent specifically

True — Non-Transparent’s in-loop lifespan depends on how you run it, not the calendar — pump speed and system complexity both wear the suspension down faster than time alone. Light, occasional use can carry a fill well past a year; a loop run hard and continuously can wear one out in weeks. Unopened, the concentrate is good for 2 years from purchase — install and use it within a reasonable window rather than letting it sit. Top up only with more True — Non-Transparent, never plain water.
